Introduction

The 5th R&D Institute (T&E) conducts developmental T&E for guided weapons and gun ammunitions, acceptance tests for mass-produced military products, reliability evaluation tests for long-term storage ammunition, and environmental tests for weapon systems including mobile systems. Active exploration and research are conducted to advance experimental methodologies and measurement methods.

Internationally Accredited Test Institute

  • Received accreditation by KOLAS (Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme) in environmental testing (KSQ ISO/IEC 17025)
