The Infrared Camera for Satellites is a high-resolution low-earth observation equipment for surveillance and reconnaissance.

Equipped with a world-class MWIR camera with GSDs of only a few meters even in highly humid weather or low-light conditions (night), the Infrared Camera features high stability and accuracy, optimal for high-speed imaging operations in the space. The Infrared Camera is also capable of enduring severe space environments due to its high reliability and durability.

Currently in operation, the Infrared Camera was designed and manufactured by Korean engineers, and passed all standard space qualification tests.
