Military Satellite Communication System
The Military Satellite Communication System (ANASIS), by using transponders in the Geostationary communication satellite located on the 36,000km orbit, enables the exchange of information between ground terminal users.
With six different types of satellite terminals available based on each military units' needs, ANASIS provides communication networks for the entire military force with enhanced anti-jamming and security capabilities.
ANASIS, the first military satellite communication system in Korea, entered service in 2006 and has significantly contributed in expanding Korea's military communication area.
