Laser Detection and Ranging (LADAR) is an active electro-optical equipment that acquires three-dimensional (3-D) image information of a target by measuring the light reflected from the target to calculate the range, azimuth and elevation angle.

LADAR is composed of a high repetition laser module, reflected light detection & signal processing module, and three-dimensional image processing module. It can be applied to geographic feature mappings, obstacle detections, concealed target detections and underwater objects detections, in both day and night.
