Swarming Unmanned System refers to a system that has a "swarm intelligence" — empowering the collective system to cooperate for the same purpose by mimicking the swarming behaviors of ecological systems in nature.

Swarming Unmanned System Technology consists of four core technologies: control technology enabling the vehicles (or UAVs) to move (or fly) close to one another while avoiding collisions with obstacles; network technology establishing distributed communication network to share information among participating members; information technology synthesizing data and providing situational awareness; and cooperation technology assigning missions and tasks in real-time under dynamic environments.
