Harbor Underwater Surveillance System (HUSS)

Maritime Surveillance System

Maritime Surveillance System is to detect, track, and classify surface and underwater threats using acoustic line arrays and magnetic sensors buried on the seafloor or using acoustic line arrays attached to a buoy in order to protect harbors and ship routes.

Harbor Underwater Surveillance System (HUSS)

The Harbor Underwater Surveillance System provides three-stage surveillance using multiples of acoustic line arrays and magnetic sensors buried on the seafloor in order to protect harbors by detecting, tracking, and classifying surface and underwater threats that attempt to intrude the harbor. In the first stage, the acoustic line arrays are to monitor threats outside of the harbor. In the second stage, acoustic and magnetic sensors are to observe intruding threats near the harbor. In the last stage, high frequency active sonars are to detect and track swimmer delivery vehicles and swimmers at the harbor entrance.
